Tuition & Financial Assistance

 

As a charter school, St. Vrain Community Montessori School does not charge tuition for its publicly-funded kindergarten or for any of the elementary or middle school programs.

 

As with all other district schools, tuition is assessed for preschool as this is not covered by public funds. Please refer to the list of tuition fees at the right for the preschool programs.

 

Tuition Payment Timeline

A 10% non-refundable tuition deposit is paid upon enrollment (typically in February) for the following school year. A second 10% tuition deposit is paid in May. The remainder of the 80% can be paid in ten monthly installments beginning in August each year.

 

Tuition Assistance

A limited number of scholarships may be available for preschool and full-day kindergarten for those who qualify. Scholarship priority is:

Scholarships are not available for full-day preschool. SVCMS requires proof of income for scholarship application eligibility and references the Federal Free Lunch program income levels in determining scholarship eligibility.

If you’re interested in applying for a tuition scholarship for preschool, please submit a scholarship application along with proof of income upon being offered enrollment in the school.

 

Submit your completed scholarship application to SVCMS with your completed enrollment packet and the school will notify you if you’re eligible to apply for a scholarship. You can request a scholarship application by sending an email to registrar@svcmontessori.org. 

 

Annual Activity Fees

An annual activity fee is charged to all students to help SVCMS pay for special classroom equipment, materials, technology, as well as parent education programs. Activity Fees are non-refundable and are due in February for the following school year. If a family qualifies for “Free Lunch,” these fees are reduced by 50%. If a family qualifies for “Reduced Lunch,” these fees are reduced by 25%.
